About Me

I’m Janice, the eyes behind JXD Studio. I photograph architecture and interiors for people who care about how their spaces are seen and experienced. I collaborate closely with a select number of clients, valuing clarity, thoughtfulness, and intention. My aim is simple: to create images that are honest, considered, and reflective of the space itself.

About My Work

Each project begins with observing the space; its flow, light, and character. I focus on clean compositions, subtle details, and capturing what truly matters. The result is imagery that feels calm, intentional, and lets the space speak for itself.

Beyond the Lens

When I’m not photographing, you’ll usually find me climbing, hiking, kayaking, or testing my balance on a slackline. Being outdoors is how I recharge, stay curious, and ground myself. I love exploring new places, noticing small details, and experiencing how spaces move and feel.

My Work

01Hospitality

A great hospitality space is about more than how it looks. It’s about how it feels to arrive, settle in, and experience the property as a guest.

My approach is to capture those moments through the design of the space — the light in a room, the flow between areas, the details that shape a guest’s experience, and the atmosphere that makes people want to stay a little longer. Whether it’s a boutique stay, villa, resort, or hotel, the goal is always the same: to create images that feel inviting, authentic, and true to the property.

02Interior Design

It is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a sanctuary, a haven of personal expression. For architects and property managers of luxury rentals, showcasing this essence is paramount. Our architectural photography goes beyond mere documentation, crafting evocative visuals that capture the tranquility and design intent of the space.

03Furniture Design

Furniture is where architecture meets the hand — line, material, and craft at a scale you can touch. I photograph furniture and bespoke pieces across Goa with an architect’s eye for form, proportion, and the way light falls across a surface, capturing the detail that separates a good piece from a considered one.
